Released in 2019, Sweat & Tears was our first product. T.S. Brutcher finally bottled his signature Bloody Mary mix after years of tinkering to perfection. He wanted to change the paradigm of what a Bloody Mary Mix could, and should be. Sweat & Tears has only 4% sodium per 3oz serving compared to the leading brands 35%.
In 2020 we released Mild Mannered Mary as an alternative to the spice of Sweat & Tears, all of the flavor with none of the heat, Mild Mannered Mary is seasoned with less black and white pepper, less garlic and no crushed red pepper, making it a preference for the Bloody Mary drinker that enjoys less of a kick.
Sweat & Tears has won the International Drunken Tomato Awards, based in San Diego, Gold Medal in 2020 for new release, 2021 Gold for Spicy and 2022 Silver for Spicy. It has also won a Gold in 2021 at The Fifty Best in NYC and both Bronze and Innovations awards at the SIP Awards in 2022.
Known throughout his bartending career for unique flavors, his spin on Sangria has been a St. Louis favorite since 2011. Selling his sangria mixes as a frozen option at local Farmers Markets for years, T.S Brutcher debuted his Shelf Stable Sangria in September 2021.
Mix one 8 oz jar of sangria with one 750 ML of dry wine, stir well and you instantly have a litre of Sangria. It's that easy.

Southside Alchemy won the Gold medal in the "New Release" category at the third annual international Drunken Tomato Awards. Sweat & Tears was applauded by a panel of expert bloody mary judges due to "a great balance of medium body, high heat, low acidity, smooth and hearty appearance and mouth feel.
